Kimber has over two decades of experience in IT operations, consulting, and project management. As part of the Idenhaus leadership team, she ensures the right match between Idenhaus and its customers for optimal team dynamics. Her extensive background encompasses program and project leadership across diverse sectors, including small businesses, Fortune 100 companies, and the U.S. Department of Defense.
Kimber began her career as a scientific programmer for the Army as a DoD contractor, focusing on compiling and analyzing missile system data. She swiftly transitioned into system administration for the base network. She conducted forensics on reported email compromises, becoming a vital "Tiger Team" member supporting DoD bases for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. Her roles evolved to encompass system administration, training, database administration, and customer support.
She later transitioned to the commercial sector as a database administrator before joining Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP) to work in IT consulting. She has gained a deep understanding of Identity and Security and has led technical teams to successful delivery. Recognized for her team management skills and ability to achieve high customer satisfaction, she was honored with the President's Award at Novell on three occasions.
