Atlanta, GA — March 24, 2026 — Idenhaus, a cybersecurity and identity-focused consulting firm, today announced it has been officially designated as a Registered Provider Organization (RPO) by the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body (Cyber AB).

This designation recognizes Idenhaus as a trusted partner for CMMC advisory and readiness services, helping organizations across the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) build defensible, audit-ready cybersecurity programs aligned with the Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework.

The Cyber AB is the sole authorized partner of the U.S. Department of Defense responsible for overseeing the CMMC ecosystem and accrediting organizations that support compliance efforts. As an RPO, Idenhaus is formally authorized to deliver pre-assessment consulting, gap analysis, remediation guidance, and ongoing compliance support to organizations pursuing CMMC certification, combining identity-centric security expertise with clear, actionable roadmaps.

“Achieving RPO status is a significant milestone for Idenhaus and a strong validation of the work we’re doing to help organizations navigate the complexity of CMMC,” said Hanno Ekdahl, CEO of Idenhaus. “Our focus is on practical, scalable cybersecurity—grounded in identity and access management best practices—and this recognition reinforces our commitment to helping defense and government contractors meet evolving federal requirements with confidence and clarity.”

CMMC is a unified cybersecurity standard designed to safeguard Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) across the defense industrial base. As certification becomes a prerequisite for many Department of Defense contracts, organizations must demonstrate not only effective technical controls but also repeatable, mature processes. Those that take an identity-centric approach to CMMC—integrating IAM, access governance, and least-privilege enforcement—will be better positioned to reduce risk, streamline audits, and remain competitive for future contract opportunities.

As a Cyber AB–authorized RPO, Idenhaus helps organizations move from uncertainty to readiness by providing:

- CMMC readiness assessments and gap analysis tied directly to NIST SP 800-171 requirements

- NIST SP 800-171 alignment and remediation planning, including SSP and POA&M support

- Identity and access management (IAM) strategy, architecture, and implementation

- Policy, process, and documentation development to operationalize controls

- Ongoing compliance support and security program maturation focused on measurable risk reduction

RPOs play a critical role in the CMMC ecosystem by helping organizations prepare for formal assessments conducted by Certified Third-Party Assessment Organizations (C3PAOs), ensuring they are positioned for successful certification outcomes on the first attempt.

Idenhaus brings a pragmatic, identity-centric, and business-focused approach to cybersecurity—helping organizations not only meet CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 compliance requirements, but also build resilient, scalable security programs that support operational efficiency and long-term growth.
